  • NACUFS Silver Loyal E Horton Award for Residence Hall - Single Stand Alone Concept/Outlet - Seasons Marketplace
  • Governor's Environmental Excellence Award; Overall and with special recognition in water quality (ISU Dining, the Department of Residence, The GreenHouse Group and Facilities Planning and Management were partners in winning this award for work with recycling, composting and trayless dining)
  • Chan Yew Woo, Assistant Manager in the MU Food Court, chosen to attend the NACUFS Leadership Institute

2008

  • NACUFS Silver Loyal E Horton Award for Catering event - Order of the Knoll
  • Jorga Kemp, Clerk, recieved the Governor's Award
  • ISU Dining won first-place in the US Highbush Blueberry Council's "Chase the Winter Blues Blueberry Promotion Contest." Our chefs created signature blueberry treats and served them to our customers in a week-long blueberry celebration. Kari Hancock (former Marketing Director), Patrick Feller (former Sous Chef) and Jeff Arthur (Sous Chef) contributed to the project.

Iowa State University Dining received the prestigious Ivy Award in 1978.  This award is only given away once to a college or university.  Once you are recognized, you are an Ivy school.
