Dining Terms and Conditions

Any student who purchases a meal plan, block, or Dining Dollars (DD) enters into a legally binding contract with ISU Dining. The specifics of this contract are outlined in this document:

2017-18 ISU DINING STUDENT CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This contract is an agreement between the student and ISU Dining. Along with the above Terms and Conditions, all information in the 2017-18 Housing Contract Terms and Condition, in the University Policy Library, and on the ISU Dining website are considered part of this contract. It is the student’s responsibility to become familiar with all of these items.

Meal Plan Eligibility

To be eligible to purchase a meal plan, block, or DD, students must be:

  • in good financial standing with ISU and
  • assigned to on-campus housing, or
  • enrolled as a student at ISU, or
  • enrolled in the Admissions Partnership Program.

ISU Staff members who wish to purchase a meal plan should visit our Staff Charge Plan.

Meal Plan Requirements

All residents assigned to Buchanan and Geoffroy halls, Richardson Court, and Union Drive are required to purchase either the CyPower, CyValaue, or Gold meal pla. For 2017-18 only, the Bronze plan is also available to any resident of a required area who had the Bronze plan during the fall 2016 semester.

Off-campus students and residents assigned to Wallace and Wilson halls, the Memorial Union, ISU West, Frederiksen Court, Legacy, or Schilletter and University Villages are not required to purchase a meal plan. However, many of these residents opt to purchase a meal plan or combination of blocks and DD that works for them.

Rates

Rates for all meal plans can be found on the Anytime, Semester and Blocks/Dining Dollars Pages.
